Gina Maloney is a multidisciplinary designer with a rich background in fashion, events, and interiors.
Gina Maloney began her career at the intersection of fashion and entrepreneurship, launching her first company alongside Joe DaHun of Joe’s Jeans shortly after college. Her eye for style and innovation quickly led her to a coveted position with renowned Los Angeles couturier Richard Tyler, where she helped develop a prêt-à-porter collection designed to rival the likes of Tom Ford and Prada. Four years later she was called to be the West Coast Director for Diesel Jeans and later was promoted to the East Coast Director.
Following this creative chapter, Gina was named the North and South American Women’s Director for Dolce & Gabbana, where she oversaw more than $50 million in annual business and curated high-profile events around the globe. Her work in the luxury fashion world sharpened her understanding of beauty, detail, organization and experience on an elite level.
In 2011, she launched her own design firm, planning and producing exquisite weddings and private events in the New York and beyond. Her background in fashion and design gave her a unique lens through which to approach event production—blending beauty with meaning, and aesthetics with experience.
Her evolution into home design was a natural one. Drawing from her upbringing in California, Gina was immersed in the world of construction and design from an early age. Her father, a set builder for Paramount Studios and a General Contractor to many of Hollywood’s elite, exposed her to architects, interior designers, and a daily dialogue centered around creativity, function and space. These early influences planted the seeds for her innate design sensibility.
Whether she’s designing a full-time residence, weekend retreat, Airbnb, or commercial space, Gina brings her authenticity, layered perspective, and deeply personal approach to every environment she creates by thoughtfully learning about her clients lives. The environments she designs are stunning and uniquely tailored to her clients lifestyle and story.

HOME DESIGN PRICING
At Gina Maloney Home Design, we offer a transparent and flexible fee structure tailored to the scope and complexity of each project. Our services are structured as follows:
DESIGN FEES
A flat design fee is established at the start of the project, based on the size and scope of work. This covers the design concept, space planning, sourcing, and overall creative direction.
Single-room projects start at $7,500 | Full home design fees are quoted individually
Project Management & Installation
For full-service projects, we offer project management billed at an hourly rate, or a fixed fee, depending on the complexity. This includes vendor coordination, ordering, deliveries, and on-site installation oversight.
Hourly rates typically range from $150–$250/hour.
Furnishings & Materials
All furnishings, materials, and decor are billed at net pricing plus a standard procurement fee to cover sourcing, ordering, and management. A typical procurement fee is 20% over net cost.
Trade Discounts
Whenever possible, we extend a portion of our trade discounts to clients as part of our transparent and collaborative approach.
Retainer & Payment Schedule
A $5,000 retainer is required to reserve your project start date. The remaining payments are structured throughout the design process, aligned with major project milestones.
Consultation Services
For clients who are seeking design guidance but do not require full-service design, we offer one-time or ongoing consultation services. These sessions provide expert advice on space planning, furnishings, finishes, color palettes, and sourcing recommendations to help move your project forward with clarity and confidence.
Consultation Fee:
In-person or virtual consultations are billed at $500 for the first 90 minutes, with additional time billed at $200 per hour thereafter.
