ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This one-of-a-kind guest house was inspired by its original life as a horse stable. We preserved as many authentic details as possible—barn doors, cement, and brick floors—allowing the home’s history to shine through. The former tack room became a charming kitchenette, while oversized barn doors in the living room now open wide to create seamless indoor-outdoor living. Eclectic pieces from the client’s collection were layered in for a playful, relaxed atmosphere.
Upstairs, the old hay loft was reimagined as a two-bedroom, two-bath retreat, complete with a Juliet balcony overlooking the pond and waterfall. The result is a sweet, character-filled sanctuary you’ll never want to leave.
